On 25 May 2020, George Floyd was killed by police in Minneapolis, USA, after being detained on suspicion of using false money. His death sparked mass activism across the world, including the UK, in support of anti-racism.

These activities help young people to understand and discuss the current situation. Learners will reflect and listen to other’s experience as they explore the people behind the news.

Learning objectives
Learners will:
•        be informed of the current anti-racism movement
•        focus on how people might experience racism and how it might feel
•        listen to other’s experiences
•        begin to plan how we can learn more about these issues.
