This guide has been developed by Oxfam together with the Maths Association, and explores 'why teach maths with a Global Citizenship approach? One answer to that question is that a Global Citizenship approach provides real-life contexts which engage learners' curiosity and make them want to use maths to explore patterns and formulate ideas about the world.
This guide provides a wide range of practical ideas for using a variety of maths techniques to interrogate and explore global issues. It also has an extensive list of useful resources for exploring further.
