Dots Raise Lots
Created by
The ‘Dots Raise Lots’ campaign is designed to help young people and schools learn more about sight loss and help spread awareness of the value of braille as a reading method for blind and partially sighted people. Part of the campaign is also to encourage fundraising to support the work of RNIB.
The education materials include:
- fundraising ideas
- lesson activities
- background information
- messages about eye health
- links to the curriculum specific to each of the four UK nations
The resources span from Early Years Foundation stage through to Key Stage Four.
The resources include ideas for outdoor learning, as well as setting the topic of sight loss in a global context by introducing young people to the Global Goals.
