World Food Day
An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on day 16 of October, repeating indefinitely
16 October every year: Raising awareness of food security and strengthening solidarity in the struggle against hunger.
This day, declared by the UN General Assembly, aims to heighten public awareness of world food problems and strengthen solidarity in the struggle against hunger, malnutrition and poverty. The theme for World Food Day 2017 was “Change the future of migration. Invest in food security and rural development”.
