This Geography lesson focuses on tea, and builds learners’ understanding of hydrology, climate change, and of how human and physical processes interact to influence environments and the climate.? Through a focus on sustainable food production, students will  be able to reflect on how all of us rely on effective functioning of natural systems for our food and livelihoods.? The activity focuses on learning through developmental group work, a constructivist approach to learning that is directed by learners themselves.? The resource is available online as a Lessson Kit and and the accompanying My Next Fairtrade Adventure’ films in two parts. There are separate films for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. In the films, Tayna, a student from North London, travels to Kenya to find out how climate change is affecting tea farmers and how Fairtrade can tackle some of the effects.?
