The Big Antarctica Conversation

It's all happening this December 1st! Register now for a free assembly pack, conversation guide and webinar with The Harmony Project.

This Antarctica Day we’re holding a big conversation for everyone to get involved in. Connecting with Antarctica and the world around us is more important than ever. That’s why as part of our “We Are Antarctica” campaign, Reboot the Future are inviting schools and communities across the world to talk about Antarctica and consider our role in her future.

There are three main ways you can take part:

  1.  Deliver an assembly with our assembly pack, including script and slides exploring the Antarctic Treaty, and the need for us to treat the planet as we would wish to be treated. Featuring a schools version of the Earthrise Original short film ‘We Are Antarctica’.
  2. Have a conversation using our conversation packs for 9-14 year olds or ages 14+. Featuring the Earthrise short film ‘We Are Antarctica’ and conversation prompts to help you create connection and inspire action.
  3. Join our webinar to hear how KS2 teachers can explore the ways we are all connected to the Antarctic ecosystem, investigate the impact our own actions have on this frozen habitat, and take action to protect our shared future. The webinar celebrates the release of a free teacher pack for upper KS2, packed with activities for a half term of enquiry. Created in collaboration with The Harmony Project, it brings the wonders of Antarctica to life through English, Maths, Art, Science, PSHE and more.
