In this story, Thea, a teddy bear, leads us on the journey of Fairtrade chocolate, from a cocoa farm in Belize, on ships and lorries, to Thea’s local shop.
This book was written to help those working with children aged 3-8 to incorporate global issues into their teaching and learning. After the story has ended, the book has a range of suggested activities intended as starting points for lessons connected to the story and its themes of ‘connections between people and places’ and ‘fairness’.
