This resource from Amnesty International consists of two one-hour lessons for students aged 13+ and is designed for Citizenship / PSE / Modern Studies / Sociology classes.
In Lesson 1, students use UN Convention Against Torture definitions to judge which interrogation techniques amount to torture.
In Lesson 2 they then consider whether governments should be allowed to interrogate terrorist suspects using methods that might amount to torture, or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.
Available in English and Welsh versions.
