Contains 1 item

In this story, Thea, a teddy bear, leads us on the journey of Fairtrade chocolate, from a cocoa farm in Belize, on ships and lorries, to Thea’s local shop. This book was written to help those working with children aged 3-8 to incorporate global issues into their teaching and learning. After the story has ended, the book has a range of suggested activities intended as starting points for lessons connected to the story and its themes of ‘connections between people and places’ and ‘fairness’. This book is available to buy on the Cumbria Development Education Centre website here https://www.cdec.org.uk/resources-for-sale/3/Thea-Discovers-Chocolate/
