This website is a collaborative, open-educational project, bringing together academics, musicians, artists and educationalists. It aims to raise awareness of modern-day slavery, human trafficking and trans-global child labour issues.
The site features a collection of 17 films, combining music, song, graphic and narrative, and designed for multiple uses – by schoolteachers but also youth groups, museums, music and dance groups, and churches and faith groups. There are ideas and planning advice provided for how these resources can be incorporated into assemblies and in a variety of subject areas for Key Stage 3 and 4 (ages 11-16). But it is also hoped that users will post their own interpretations of the materials to allow for a much broader sharing of ideas and practice.
