The Geography Collective have splashed out into the theme of water and created another brilliant set of exciting challenges to get young explorers learning about the world around them. This e-book, downloadable here with accompanying teacher notes, has 51 missions that challenge learners to discover, explore and think about water in new ways.
Whilst probably most obviously linked to the subjects of Geography, Science or Design & Technology, the missions touch upon every subject in the curriculum. You could consider holding a water day or week with every subject area challenging pupils to complete a relevant mission. Teachers and pupils alike will get the most out of the challenges if they are approached in a flexible, messy spirit of adventure and fun.
All of the missions can also be found on the Mission:Explore website where you and your explorers can collect badges for doing them.
