This free secondary school teaching resource from UNICEF supports the teaching of Citizenship and PSHE. Based on Article 27 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child – the right to a decent standard of living – the resource explores global citizenship and economic well-being.

Activities explore topical issues relating to money and will help young people make financial choices that are both ethically and financially sound. Case studies from Brazil and Ghana bring a global perspective. The pack is especially relevant to the Economic Wellbeing and Financial Capability strand of PSHE in the English curriculum, but can also link into Geography, English, Business and RE, and is appropriate for the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish curricula also.

The pack can be downloaded free from the UNICEF UK website, together with PowerPoint presentations and video clips.
