This teaching resource accompanies Think Global’s 2018-19 Global Wallplanner. The theme for this year’s wallplanner is Ethical Trade and the Sustainable Development Goals. The photos in this resource show people all around the world employed in, or benefiting from, ethical trade. We have also linked the photos to the Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals) – a set of 17 global targets to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. We hope that these photos will help teachers and students explore how ethical trade can contribute to meeting these Global Goals. Whether it’s in an assembly, a tutor time, a literacy lesson, a PSHCE lesson, or as part of cross-curricular day, these photos are a great starting point to discuss how we can all work together for positive change.
