CAFOD Climate and Environment Resources (Primary)
The Catholic aid charity CAFOD has developed a range of films, assemblies and activities to help primary pupils explore issues of climate justice and the environment. As CAFOD is a Catholic charity, many of the resources include a religious dimension. Resources include:
- A film animation for children based on Pope Francis’ letter to the world on care of creation, “Laudato Si’”.
- Climate change game cards with top tips on action to take to become more climate friendly.
- Climate assembly script and presentation.
- Presentations on the impact climate change is having on people that CAFOD work with, eg in Kenya and Myanmar.
