Written by a team of four British teachers and edited at the Embassy of Brazil, this website provides a set of free, up-to-date educational resources about Brazil for teachers and pupils in British schools. The project has been specifically designed to support the Geography curriculum.
For Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11) there is a set of 10 factsheets, 26 activity sheets and teachers’ notes exploring the land, environment, country and people, including indigenous people.
For Key Stage 3 (ages 11-14) there is a downloadable pack divided into chapters that cover themes such as the environment, people, urban-rural contrasts, industry, agriculture, tourism to globalization and the future. In addition, teachers’ notes can be used for extension work and also to extend the resource to older students, age 14-16 and 16+.
The website also has video links and a photo gallery.
