An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on of February, repeating indefinitely
1-28/29 February every year. Celebrating the lives and achievements of the LGBT community.
LGBT History Month aims to promote tolerance and raise awareness of the prejudices faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
The LGBT History Month website has lots of useful background information and resources for schools, including toolkits and suggested lessons, and details of the theme for each year.
The Amnesty International UK website has an LGBTI Rights Activity Pack.
You can find an assembly script, lesson plan and film clips about LGBT issues on the TrueTube website.
