Last week in February and first week in March: Promoting the principles and products of fair trade.

Fairtrade Fortnight sets aside two weeks every year in which the principles and products of fair trade are promoted and the links between consumers and producers are highlighted.

Each year has a different theme. You can find out more, download lots of resources and watch short film clips on the Fairtrade Schools website.

If you are registered for the Global Learning Programme for England (GLP-E) then login to download Fairtrade Fortnight resources developed for Key Stage 1, 2 and 3. (If you’re not yet signed up you can register your school here.)

Traidcraft also have ideas for ways in which schools can mark Fairtrade Fortnight – find out more on the Traidcraft for schools website.

If you would like some ideas to help your school celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight, take a look at the Going Nuts for Fair Trade blog post or read through our article on Trade. You could also browse through the resources listed under the topics of fair trade or trade.
