On 25 September 2015 at the UN Sustainable Development Summit
in New York, world leaders will commit to 17 Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs or 'Global Goals') which aim to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all.
Teachers all around the world are being encouraged to teach about the Global Goals during the week beginning 28 September, and get involved in The World's Largest Lesson
. Lesson plans (developed by Think Global), posters and teaching resources have been specifically developed to support the teaching of the Global Goals.
As part of this project, we have created a set of pages which explore each of the Global Goals in turn, providing background information, film clips, classroom ideas and a wealth of teaching resources.
