This free resource from Oxfam explores some of the global issues raised by the World Cup.
The lessons are suitable for ages 9 to 11, within English, Maths, Geography and Citizenship teaching, and cover a week's worth of activities. The lessons cover three themes: competition, team work and thinking skills, using activities such as map work, quizzes, discussions and role-play.
The material covers some complex issues, such as trade and the Millennium Development Goals, in a fun format.
